After ending high school on such a high note, my first 2 years of college came with very abrupt and rude awakenings. New home, away from Alief, new family structure, friends away at college... I graduated high school with a newfound confidence and woke up to a very depraved self esteem in just the first summer following graduation. I dove head first into experimenting with music and forcing my way through almost 2 years of non-art college credits at Houston Community College. By year 2 I was so starved for visual art, I exploded with new works any where I could. These were very isolated years. So isolated and so may fervent late nights that some of the works I had forgotten about doing until recently rediscovering them, so much so I can't pinpoint the year, semester, or professor I did the works for.
