My journey as an artist has been long, winding, rewarding, challenging, and ongoing. Art has felt what I consider to be a native language, a projection of my heart and mind, a gateway to many lives I wouldn't have otherwise lived.

It has also saved me numerous times from self-destruction and provided an escape from what seemed to be impossible situations.
