What was only 3 short years proved to be incredibly formative and exciting exploring my style in the junior high years. Between my teachers at school at Alief Holub Middle School — Mrs. Hurlbert, Ms. Weaver, and Mr. Weaver (interestingly enough no relation to each other) — and spending enormous amounts of time in my room focusing heavily on improving my skills and trying all subject matter, I experienced strong growth and enjoyment during these years. I'm sure school starting almost an hour later than elementary didn't hurt, as I also had perfect attendance throughout middle school and made honor roll regularly.
